My students taught this month’s words with “Word Bank”. They printed out and coloured the pictures of the words related to the unit “Downtown”. Then, they made a box, in other words; a word bank by recycling a shoebox. They painted the shoebox and then they made a hole which they put the words through on the shoebox. They put the words they coloured in the bow through the hole. In the end, they picked one word and tried to guess the name of the picture. If they couldn’t remember the name, they checked the back face of the picture to see the name. Because they had written the names on the back faces of the pictures. And we decided to use this word bank for the other units’ words, also.
