  ☘️Playing the games with friends☘️ 🧿Hatice Kamil Pekmez Secondary School🧿 This week,we were responsible for playing at least one online game created by mixed groups. My students played all groups’ games in the classroom. We played the games on 29th November because I was ill last week. So I had to upload the video this week. I also uploaded my sick report.  Playing the Games with Friends- 3rd Mixed Group's Game (Image Quiz) Şehit Üzeyir Gençdoğmuş Secondary School This week,we were responsible for playing at least one online game created by mixed groups. My students played the 3rd mixed group's game. As in the online game, they played "Image Quiz" game.  Because of some problems at school, my whole class played the game by themselves at their homes.  All of the students in the class liked the game and they had fun. My students played the 1st mixed group's game. As in the online game, they played "Matching Pairs" game. 5th Mixed Group 'Creating Online Game' This week we created online games with our mixed group. We were the 5th mixed group. Firstly we share our game ideas on the Padlet page. Then we decided to prepare a maze chase game. My students choose the words of the game and choose the pictures we'll use in our game. At the end I created the game.   Teaching Words with Games        Şehit Üzeyir Gençdoğmuş Secondary School - Kangal/ SİVAS My students taught this month's words with  "BINGO"  They prepared bingo sheets and each of them includes 5 pictures related to the target vocabulary. They also wrote the words of the unit on small pieces of papers. The rules of the game are totally the same with the real Bingo game. The one who completes his/her bingo sheet the first, will be the winner of the game. We had lots of fun while playing this game. It was a great experience both for me and my students.      Edanur EVMEZ-English Language Teacher

                                Teaching Words with Games            Şehit Üzeyir Gençdoğmuş Secondary School - Kangal/ SİVAS                 My students taught this month’s words with "Board Game". They drew some squares on the paperboard and sticked pictures of  the chosen words on these squares. Also, they sticked some words there. There is a "start and finish" box in the game. While playing the game, they throw the dice and move according to it. If they face with a picture, they have to tell the word in English. If they face with a word they have to say the Turkish meaning of the word. The person going the "finish box" first is the winner of the game. They both learned and had fun while preparing and playing our lovely game. "Learning with fun is really fun." Gamze ÇETİN -(English Teacher)

☘️Teaching words with games☘️ Hatice Kamil Pekmez Secondary School (Nizip/Gaziantep) My students taught this month’s words with “Word Bank”. They printed out and coloured the pictures of the words related to the unit “Downtown”. Then, they made a box, in other words; a word bank by recycling a shoebox. They painted the shoebox and then they made a hole which they put the words through on the shoebox. They put the words they coloured in the bow through the hole. In the end, they picked one word and tried to guess the name of the picture. If they couldn’t remember the name, they checked the back face of the picture to see the name. Because they had written the names on the back faces of the pictures. And we decided to use this word bank for the other units’ words, also. Ayşe Menşure ÇİMEN - English Teacher

  "Teaching words with games" Ulubağ Secondary School(Haliliye/Şanlıurfa) My students taught this month’s words with “Unscramble game”.They used pictures to teach.They sticked the pictures on the board and wrote the words according to the pictures.Then they deleted the words.On behalf of them,they sticked the colorful letters next to the pictures.But letters are scrambled.Then their friends unscrambled the words.They really had a lot of fun.We will play this game again.
